It is with great pleasure and anticipation that I invite you to stop by Open Door Church one Sunday and give us a "test run". While we do not believe that everyone will be directed by the Lord to make this his or her "church home", we do believe that many are out there who are looking for the very kind and type of church that is being grown here. We must admit that we are as prone to make errors in judgment and make a "mis-que" as you or anyone else. We make it our aim to spend a lot of time with the Lord in His Book, and in prayer believing this will help us to be more like our Savior. Have we arrived yet? No! I am afraid not. But we continue to run the race that is put before us, not looking back but keeping our focus on the prize before us. That being said, we surely do hope the Lord will give you a burden for the ministries that He has for us here at Open Door, and send you to join with us in the glorious race. May the Lord richly bless you as we anticipate laboring together with Him until He comes!
Pastor Jack has been in the ministry for almost 40 years in some capacity from the Bus Ministry to Youth Ministry to the Pastorate. We welcome him here at Open Door Church and pray the Lord to prosper the labor of our hands to the praise, glory and honor of our Lord. It is our fervent desire to point folks to the Savior through preaching, worship, singing, Bible studies, prayer, missions and by whatever means is available to us.
You will find a hearty welcome when you choose to worship with us, and a group of regular people like yourself who will make you feel right at home...enough so that you will want to fellowship with us on a regular basis. And that would please us totally.
